Being a die hard cattle class flyer, I strongly recommend QR. The only similar experience I had (in terms of comfort and service) was with MH back in 2005.

The A330 is fine, way above US and some EU carriers, the 777 Y class is the best product around. On my flight to Asia I was slightly disappointed with the meals served, except breakfast that could compete with C class offerings on some carriers.
