Compensation for lost bags
Just got back from a great 10 day vacation in Vegas with my family. Only problem is our luggage never showed up in ewr. With the length of the trip, our luggage contained pretty much our entire Summer wardrobe.
From what I am hearing, we likely will not see these bags again.
CO is saying they will reimburse for lost items and interim expenses- well done CO.
However, it will be aggravating to say the least to repurchase an entire wardrobe for 2 adults and worse yet 2 small children.
Anyone have experience here? Any chance of additional compensation to make up for what will be significant inconvenience?
These things happen. I am not at all being hysterical. Just want to know what the "right" thing is.
Thanks in advance for any help!
