If you have F lounge access then go to the Wing. This is better choice than the Cabin (which doesn't have showers) and if you are transiting will reduce the risk of an unnecessary walk due to the way the APM system is set up at HKIA (see FAQ section 8 if you want the full explanation).

On that note, I don't know why you think the Pier is closer to your gate given that CX548 is not a flight which has a sticky gate at HKG. You won't know what gate your flight leaves from (or for that matter which gate your flight from SIN will arrive into) until the day of departure.
