If you have a long hold time as an elite simply hang up, dial again, and re-enter your number. Apparently thier system is crap at number regognition (even when keyed), but once it does regognize it you are good.

I have personally tested multiple times including during peak IRROPS times this year (EWR snowmageddon) and Plat & Gold never over 1 min when recognized, and Silver never over 3 minutes.

Note that you may get overflow to India CC as an elite during peak times. If what you need is complex you may have problems, but waiting forever on hold should NOT be one of them.
