Update:
The same thing is happening to the Westin Atlanta Airport (1024) right now.
Also the Westin San Francisco Airport (1007) and the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North (1022).

When I search for Starwood hotels near Fort Lauderdale (without any dates) on SPG.com, it doesn't show up for me. (The fifth hotel on my list is the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek, and the sixth is the Sheraton Suites Plantation.)

But when I run the same search on the mobile site, the Westin Fort Lauderdale shows up as it should, right between those two Sheratons.

The direct link gets redirected by the Akamai edge server to http://www.starwoodhotels.com/preferredguest/search/system_error_search.html (with a 302).

When is that error page supposed to show up? Changing the propertyID to a rebranded (1410 was the Westin Dallas City Center, now a Marriott) or unbuilt (1516 for the Westin Raleigh, actually just a real estate scam) Starwood hotel sends you to /directory/hotels/all/list.html for the brand of the hotel you last viewed. Using an invalid propertyID like 4567 brings up a different error without redirecting.
