Yes, thanks to T8191 for making the case for DC so well. If I could still live there, I would. I was sorry to move away.

I think it's funny that one of the first positive things mentioned was the fact that "only American tourists" visit DC (not quite true--there are a hell of a lot of Indian tourists!!) and you won't find anyone from the UK there. I think all the Brits must be in NY, shopping
