Looking to go for two-three days to Taipei in July. Can leave out of NRT or HND. Currently have a BE award ticket for 45k miles (about 3.4CPM when compared to the price of the seat) on the direct DL flight on the 744.

What other options could I use? I called in and asked about KE, but my timeframe is inside their blackout dates (do their blackout dates also apply to business redemptions?). Is using China Eastern or China Southern other options that I should look into? Also, would it be worth trying to get on a China Airlines flight (from the service perspective)?
