I did ask at LGW why I wasn't given a green pass due to quick flight change, but the ground crew just looked at me strangely. I was given the normal transfer pass and at Doha I saw one of the ground crew holding up my name who subsequently transferred me to the satellite terminal. Small place with just one duty free shop and a few hard plastic seats dotted around. My flight was delayed for two hours and although I asked if I could be transferred back to the main terminal I was denied access. I even showed my silver card, but they were having none of it. In fact I was the only person in the satellite terminal which was a really strange feeling as well.
