True, unless you really were based in one of those cities in which case you could say it truthfully. Being based somewhere doesn't necessarily mean the airline defintion. I get that I have to comply with all (legal) instructions from FAs while on board. However, I don't think that lying to one about my employment or where I live equals me being in a pickle, unless by pickle you just mean embarassed. Now honestly, I haven't ever done this, nor would I, but I do think I could "get away" with it. Of course, I could be wrong.
