I received a just about new Luggage Works bag as a gift from a just retired friend. It's a 22 inch roll aboard with a stitched united airlines logo and crew tags. He told me to keep the tags and stitching on and no one would ever give me a second look when bringing it aboard, and I am almost guaranteed closet space on RJ instead of gate check.
Rest assured if someone here sees you pull the stunt, a thread will be started about what a d***less DYKWIA type you are to think you're some kind of Frank Abignale Jr with a sense of entitlement to the front closet of a CRJ which resulted in everyone in F getting their sportscoats wrinkled. Your every subsequent action - asking for a PFB, standing in line for the loo, talking to the FA, leaning your seat back, keeping your window open, etc etc etc will be scrutinized nd characterized as mean-spirited and inconsiderate.
