I live not far from the Andaz and my fares have been about ~$45 plus tip. But for whatever reason I always seem to be returning late at night, when no traffic is present. And I always request them use La Cienega (never the 405).

The WorldTaximeter site seems to be flaky these days but it's showing a rate incl tip at about $60:

But note this site shows a route via the 405 - which again, I'd avoid at all costs. It's a straight drive up from LAX to WEHO on La Cienega.

Lastly, note that there's a fixed rate going from WEHO to LAX at $40. (It had been $35. Seems to have increased semi-recently).
