I was on a PHX-ORD redeye last Sunday and the FA was trying to speed up boarding. He mentioned "we have been informed weather is moving into Chicago and we need to depart NOW". The "weather" which was showers and overcast skies wasn't supposed to arrive until 3 hours after our arrival time. I felt it was cheap theatrics, especially when people were boarding quickly and orderly and there were no overhead bin issues.
