The seat iself actually isn't a big deal to me but food, IFE and service are. I am not too impressed with what NH has to offer. Is OZ's better?
Routing through Europe will cost more miles. If you have the miles, you could book LH or LX via FRA or ZRH. Both have excellent long haul business class products and service.

OZ flies a 3 class 777 from JFK to ICN. According to the OZ forum, it has full AVOD IFE. If you have the miles, you could fly OZ F and that is really nice.
