I received a just about new Luggage Works bag as a gift from a just retired friend. It's a 22 inch roll aboard with a stitched united airlines logo and crew tags. He told me to keep the tags and stitching on and no one would ever give me a second look when bringing it aboard, and I am almost guaranteed closet space on RJ instead of gate check.

What would you do? I'm inclined to remove the crew tag.
