Unlike some, we like AF and it is often relatively easy to obtain FF seats out of IAD because they have more than one daily flight to CDG. There are certainly flights to TLV via CDG. I just checked and if you are flexible, the horrible DL Award calendar says that flights are available at "low" mileage requirement in business class, say in October (should be 120,000 miles for roundtrip to the Middle East). However, as was said, you need to talk to a DL agent first to ensure availability and put a desired itinerary on hold before you transfer MR points. I did note, though, that AF only flies narrow-body jets from Paris to Tel Aviv, which is not a plus.
