Well you didn't.. but following FT advice created a great deal of hostility!

After reading about the bedlam that is Napoli's check in desks I arrived two hours before the flight departure to see two long BA queues and no desk open. So with no dedicated business class line.. I set up my own!! Cue lots of people shouting "get to the back of the queue... this is row 50" etc etc.

I probably could've explained that I was travelling in Club, but why make things easy!!

Anyway - one girl came on to check in and called me over straight away. One of the guys at the front of another queue barged in front of me, only to be rebuffed by the girl on the desk. As we walked away to departures another guy was waving his walking stick at us!

Two hours later at the departure gate he was still apoplectic, topped off with stares as our queue bodies walked past us as we sat in our seats!

Quite enjoyed it really.. however thanks to FT for prewarning me of the carnage that was going to ensue!
