I too am getting the renewal message when I start KVS
YOU may characterise it as "some bullcrap sales pitch pop-up"
I characterise it as a useful reminder to me that if I don't act my membership will expire
A single click on the "Hide this message" button and it is gone - until the next time you start KVS. Or you could press the "renew now" button, pay your subscription fee - and the message will disappear
