Hotel Closure
From June 1, 2011 through March 30, 2012, the hotel will be closed entirely to undergo a complete restoration.
We stayed at Alfonso before the hotel closed for renovation. Let's just say it wasn't the Luxury Collection we had thought and expected. Got upgraded to a corner suite which was great, but everything inside the room was very old and run down, beddings, towels, furniture, etc. But i guess people stay here for the history, rather than for clean white towels. The renovation will definitely be good for the hotel. We love Seville.
