LOL! Almost everything is lighter than those behemoths.

Man, you gotta be prepared for anything these days. Elephants, TSA, six year old terrorists... what has the world become?

I understand what you are saying now, but that would be quite the odd look.
So when I mention an anorak, everybody in the US will think of what the Inuit wear? What I mean is a hip length outer jacket with pockets in the style of a Barbour or a field jacket. Like what Scottevest makes but long enough to cover a sport coat.

Insinuating something?
I'm in between. I carry hotel minis when I might be in a lower end place without shampoo, but that is very rare anymore. My freedom baggie now consists of a bottle of Polo Black, Schwartzkopf pomade, 2 mini toothpastes, eye cream and Art of Shaving lavender cream. Deo doesn't need to be a crystal to be solid - I use Tom's of Maine.
Nope, not insinuating anything. But many women and some men are like that. Nothing wrong with that. It just makes it harder for them to travel lightly and quickly.
I think of the times when I was such a dandy I'd take along a pair of massive wooden shoe trees and a toiletry bag that would weigh one pound EMPTY. Today, if I take shoe trees, I take the plastic spring-loaded ones. I use a ziploc for my toiletries. Don't miss a thing. And when I like the products in a hotel I always make sure to take some with me for future use on trips.
