When you say "itinerary page", so you mean the "Itinerary Details" page on AA.com with the HTML title "Reservations - Review Reservation Details"? Sorry to sound like a broken record, but on this page is a button marked "PRINT ITINERARY & RECEIPT" which displays the ticket number. A caveat noted earlier in the thread is that there are a few exceptions where a ticketed itinerary may just have a "PRINT ITINERARY" button which does not display the ticket number.

At the top of the "Itinerary Details" page is a "Reservation Details" section which has three boxes labeled "Record Locator", "Status" and "Reservation Name". The "Status" box reports the ticketing status, e.g., "ON HOLD - Purchase By: [date time]", "Purchased", "Ticketed - [date]" or "Canceled". Furthermore, the "My Reservations" page has a column labeled "Status" which provides the ticketing status information for all of the itineraries associated with the logged-in AAdvantage account (or itineraries booked and/or purchased while logged in).
