And doesn't Kuwait Airlines also service LHR - JFK?</font>
How did customs allow this? Potential contamination and all; wonder if the US would allow it.
Yes, Kuwait Airways does operate a thrice weekly JFK-LHR service. But for first class, I'd stick with Air India. Air India cabin crew repeatedly goes out of the way for First Class pax.
Case in point. My wife, 2 small kids and I were on a flight from BLR-BOM-JFK in late November. The FA (they call them Air Hostesses) must have sympathized how difficult a 20 hour flight can be with a 2 and 4 year old. She actually picked up a spoon, and fed our 2 kids thw whole meal while Mom and I enjoyed our own lunch. I was dumbfounded. We would never dream of asking any crew member for such a service--it was strictly her own initiative. And the kids loved it and cleaned their plate.
Not to worry--AI's First Class cabins are not filled with kids! In all the times I've sat there, the only kids I ever saw was that one time I brought my own!
