No, not all that long-term. At the time of their retirement (late 2008 and throughout 2009), the latest lease expiration for an AB6 was in 2011. Their retirement and removal from the fleet would have happened by now even if the recession of 2008 had not hit so hard (forcing AA to remove substantial capacity).
