I have a 3-hour layover in CVG today, my first connection through this airport in about three years. I was completely unprepared for what I would find:

1. I usually make my food decisions on which place has the shortest line, but NONE of the places had lines -- where do I eat? I panicked and ate at the first place I found. Fortunately, I had a delicious sandwich at Wolfgang Puck, but I think that was just luck.
2. Likewise, in the Sky Club I usually sit in the first empty seat I find (if I'm lucky enough to find one on the first Club I try), but here they are ALL empty! This enormous, beautiful Sky Club and I can count on two hands the number of people in here. I had to circle twice before finding the right place to sit.

How do they expect anyone to travel this way? Choices? Space? It's all too much.

Needless to say, I will be utilizing CVG for more of my travel as long as it's still around.
