I really don't find this last remark to be funny or cute. Many passengers could have been severely injured or killed if Richard Reid had succeeded in igniting the explosives which were concealed in his shoes.
No matter how anyone is treated by an airline, they have no right whatsoever to justify acts of terrorism as the result of said treatment.
<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">just as the crew came round with gifts for all the passengers, a Kuwait Airways radio. It was big measuring about 8 X 6 inches and kind of looked like a bomb according to my roommates in the States.</font>
Keep making these remarks and joking about explosives and you will find yourself permanently banned from flying by most of the world's airlines. Incarceration may be a further unexpected result.
