guys

i'm trying to get some tough seats in Dec for a trip to asia. I know american allows people to hold reservations for 5 days till they are automatically canceled. I was told my reservation would cancel at 11:59EST and wondering if it's best to call at 12:05am or if tickets automatically cancel on the time zone of the person making the reservation world over?
