Most companies have special promotions for new customers that don't apply to existing ones. I'm just happy I was able to get in on the DL promotion and now maybe the AMEX one. Fidelity also offered great cash bonuses a few years ago for new customers and they also extended that one to existing customers; everyone in my family got in on that one!

You might be right, I hope you are b/c I probably will apply and see what happens. But what I go by, and what AMEX will go by when push comes to shove, and the T&Cs that are associated with the application and those clearly state 10k.[/QUOTE]

Seems to me that's an integral part of the getting the new Fidelity bonus for those of us who don't have an eligible AMEX MR card. But I'm not a moderator....
