Merging separate MU and DL PNR into a single PNR?
Hi all,
I'm thinking of taking a short vacation between business trips which will require me to get a ticket on MU while my work ticket is DL. The mix of carriers is for route efficiency and having separate bookings is because corporate travel policies prohibit tagging personal travels onto the same reservation (no way to pay for part of the booking separately).
Route is:
1. SEA-PVG (DL)
2. PVG-KUL (MU)
3. KUL-PVG (MU)
4. PVG-SEA (DL)
So does anyone have experience getting 2 separate carrier PNRs merged into 1? Hoping it's possible since both are Skyteam.
If not, will MU check my bags through to SEA when I check-in at KUL? It's just under 2hours between #3 and #4 so if I have to go through immigration/customs, get baggage, re-check and immigration again, I think that would be cutting it too close.
Anybody with experiences to share?
Thanks.
