Check up time again!
  1. Lounge access: still ^
  2. Lounge quality: catering has improved but there is MUCH space to grow...
  3. Priority check-in and lists: ^ always granted, excellent value, BUT staff at business counters doesn't really go the extra mile, bending a fare rule or getting you home a bit earlier. Come on, the OTHER carriers do it for Elite+...
  4. Telecheckin: ^ now, works almost always (web check in still in a pitiful state)
  5. Luggage: no effects for priority tags that I can see
  6. Priority security: ^ where it is available it works well. Many ST carriers extend the privilege to ST E+, so this is really valuable to me.
  7. Priority in boarding: still NOT working. All ST carriers give me priority in boarding EXCEPT MY OWN CARRIER! Is it so difficult to do? Business first, Elite second, General third. Bounce the people who do not belong. Form three lines. It's NOT difficult. Other carriers do it all the time. And it IS a valuable perk for us frequent travellers. Come on, AZ!
  8. Elite phone line: ^ ^ getting better and better
  9. Elite email handling: mixed experience but EXCELLENT experience with the Facebook page :-)
  10. Upgrade certificates: it would still be much better to offer a "space available" upgrade privilege as the american carriers do on continental flights. I made use of my certificates finally and it all went well... but M fares are outrageous.
