I'm flying with BA in the near future for a holiday with the family. My wife and daughter (age 10) are flying on miles and I have paid for a ticket. Seperate booking for me, all of us in CW.

When I booked, I selected my seat and I also selected seats for my wife and daughter. Obviously we are all nearby. Since then, my wifes silver status has downgraded to blue. My families seats still show as allocated, but will these dissapear just before the flight (I know there is always a chance, but is it much higher given the loss of status)?

Should I ring customer service and link the bookings? I am gold and believe I can ask for seat requests (TCP) for other people travelling with me on seperate bookings - do I need to do this as they have already been selected (and still show in MMB online)?
