Travel with an epipen, never been asked for anything and never had an issue even in the most "suspicious" of security checks aka in Siangapore when the young gentleman kept insisting I take by cardigan off and could not get the hang of the fact is was a layered top. Had to go to one side and part strip it was hilariously stupid given I had all sorts of pc and camera gear and the epipens in the handluggage that went straight through the scanner and then had to wait 10 minutes for me!
We do have a doctors letter which we had to pay to get, were advised by others though that these are worthless as they can be forged etc.
