Keep in mind you won't get an infinite number of credit pulls in a short term. So you'll have to pick your battles.

Continental is going away soon so maybe go after a card from them first. But if you're really trying to stay focused on AA and don't really want UA/CO miles, be careful you do things in the right order and right pace to actually get approvals.
