My personal favs where I was always been upgraded when I had Ambassador status:
  • IC New Orleans
  • IC Athens
  • IC Madrid
  • IC Lisbon
  • IC Prague
  • IC Miami

I've also had good experiences at the IC Chicago but you have to avoid some rooms that are real dogs.

  • IC New Orleans : centrally located, good service, but dated and with no charm
  • IC Athens : much better after renovation, but in the middle of nowhere
  • IC Madrid : I like this hotel for service and location (and now for renovated suites)
  • IC Lisbon : ?! The former Ritz is now part Four Seasons for quite a long time
  • IC Prague : smallish rooms (except for executive suites), horrible building, not exactly tastefull renovation, service so-so
  • IC Miami : love the lobby, but rooms are so dated and location not ideal
