Interesting report as JAL is infrequently covered on FT. Two Qs

1)Were you tempted to use CX for the trip? Did the extra 20k miles or hassle of going thru HKG put you off?
2) Have you flown CX F and if so how did this compare.

Just planning ahead for when Villa win the European Cup and I need to visit Tokyo.
BTW, I don't suppose you're a Villa fan also.
