Yes, I entered my JMB number in my booking when I bought the ticket. Even when I called to assigned the exit row seat for myself, the CSR didn't seem to recognize my status and asked me to pay for it. When I mentioned my status, she even asked "from which carrier?" But their system definitely has my status in otherwise they wouldn't had let me preselect seats with this deep discounted ticket.

It's not completely FA's fault but definitely agree with they shouldn't be yelling (or maybe she just sound like she's yelling ) They could have definitely said things in a nicer way and handled it much more smoothly.

I guess they forgot to turn something on. When I board, the captain got out of the plane and told the maintenance staff the switch was off. So it could be it or completely unrelated (I would rather it be the A/C switch than something else )
