Some very loooooooooooong time ago (like 20 years from now), visiting my grand uncle and touring Zimbabwe for a week at this occasion, I used to stay in the Victoria Falls Hotel.
As far as I remember i liked its colonial style and the fact it really was very close to the waterfalls. It was like a time machine in a past century. Sitting next to the pool, having a drink while the marimba players were playing some music was very relaxing.

Perhaps somebody has a more recent memory or testimonial about this hotel. my uncle mentioned the one directly next to the Vic Falls Hotel was quite good as well.
