After the meal service on a intra-EU CE-flight today, I was a bit surprised to see that a couple of the crew grabbed a couple of wines, 4-5 small cans of tonic and 2-3 small bottles of gin, and placed the items in their crew bags. I know that the crew had their last flight for the day, so they was probably just going to the crew hotel after the flight.

Do BA allow the crew to take items from the bar trolley for own consumption? I understand that they eat the same food as the pax onboard, but do BA also "provide" them with booze outside the plane?
