Any man coming out 50+ is going to face huge challenges. Like it or not, he is going to be bombared by the entire "scene" but in fact the number of gay men living in the "scene" is very small. Tell him ne needs to forget about the clubs/bars, Manhunt, Grinder, etc.

He needs to get with men his own age. Yeah, it will suck that he never had the young and fun time in his life but I constantly see older gay men trying to ride the coat tails of younger gay men and not does it not work but its a very sad way of existence.
