Bumping this up as I'm trying to understand the inner workings of the LANPASS program, specifically for redeeming SPG points to LAN and then using those miles/kms to redeem on partners like AA. The value seems amazing.

Can I just search for award availability on ExpertFlyer and then call into LAN or something? The web site seems terrible at finding availability on AA.
