I will be overnighting in London (Intercontinental by Hyde Park Corner) and planning to take the HEX from Paddington.
since a bus in the AM (6am) will take me 20min or so, I was thinking about taking a walk from the hotel to the station via the park. All I have is a laptop bag and a light wheelie carry-on. Weather says it should be sunny (445am sunrise) and about 15C/59F, plus some fresh air will do me some good (and a walk will help with the exercise I need)

Main questions are
Is it a nice walk?
is it safe in the early hours?
Any kind of park work that might make cause a detour?
Has anyone else traveled via the park in the AM?
