My initial thought was this was a marketing tool but i notice that the OP has commented on other things too, such as what a good airport Tampa is.
Hardly a trip report though.
I have stayed in St Pete's quite a few times, went back earlier this year and have to say its not what it was 10 or 15 years ago.
Some of the beach shops are closed and it just doesnt seem as vibrant as it once was.
There are of course plenty of hotels to choose from !!
