Here's what happens when I've got a bit too much time on my hands...

I was wondering how many of the aircraft that I flew in the above report might still be flying, especially with Northwest! Here's the results:

737-201 N747N Last flew for Carnival Airlines. Also served as the Miami Heat Basketball team plane in 1997. Broken up at FLL 11/98.

737-222 N752N Still operating for PI when it overran the runway while landing at CLT 11/25/86. No fatalities but the aircraft was written off.

727-91 N297BN Now a private jet for RD Aviation. Also served in the luxurious Regent Air fleet

727-227 N418BN Last flew for American Airlines. Now stored in Newburgh, NY

727-27 N7288 Last flew for Air Nacoia. Now stored at Johannesburg

727-025C N8173G Presently flying for UPS. Has been re-engined with RR Tay

737-247 N4514W Presently flying for SAT Sakhalin Airlines

727-251 N285US Still flying for Northwest

727-251 N265US Retired from Northwest in June 1993. Broken up in Sherman, TX

747-151 N601US Stored at Maxton, NC since 10/2000, being prepared for eventual preservation at the Smithsonian Museum.

DC-9-15 N96S Last flew for Northwest. Retired and stored at Ardmore, OK 8/99

DC-9-14 N1053T Last flew for Inter Colombia. Stored at MEX since 3/93

DC-8-61 N1302L Still flying for UPS

707-323B N8406 Still flying for BETA Cargo (Brasil)

707-323C N7599 Sold to American Trans Air in 1983, later flew a special around the world charter. Last flew for Air Ghana. Now parked at Southend, UK

727-290 N291AS Last flew for American Trans Air. Now stored in Victorville, CA

727-21 N314AS Retired from Alaska and broken up at Shelton, WA 3/94

727-21 N318AS Last flew for Aerotol Colombia. Destroyed at Santa Marta, Co. 11/28/82

727-21 N320AS Still flying as a private jet for ICN Pharmaceuticals

737-202C N2711R Last flew for Aero Zambia. Now stored in Pietersburg, S. Africa

737-217 CF-CPE Retired from Canadian Airlines. Stored in Ardmore, OK

737-217 C-GCPM Still Flying for Air Canada

737-275 CF-PWD Last flew for Air Lanka. Broken up at Colombo 1993

DC-8-62 N8970U Owned and operated by Jetline, Inc. for Gov’t. of Benin

727-022 N7087U Last flew for Aero Peru. Presently stored in Tucson
