Sory to hear about your trouble with the drinks service, why the FA would get so uptight about giving you a can of soda is baffling.
When drinks service comes around the first time I usually ask for " A CAN of Coke " as opposed to " A Coke" when ask what I would like to drink. This elimates any misunderstanding and I have never had any problems getting it, even on 40 min flights.

Regarding the business seat, 4 words, YOU PAID FOR COACH. As such, you should review it as a coach seat, not a C/J seat.
