Seat 2A:
You noted the fact that Finnair didn't provide headphones on your flight HEL-LHR. Did you see a headphone jack?
I took this flight two years ago (oddly enough, on the same exact aircraft, but seat 21D), and there are no jacks to place headphones in. The programming is supposed to have subtitles, and some of the programs do. Others don't. It's a little odd.
And regarding the Hotel Kamp, it is a fantastic hotel. I stayed there myself in March. I dropped in on family to surprise them, and I told them where I was staying (watch out, the Kamp is the Kamp and there is another hotel nicknamed Kamppi), so when we eventually figured it out, they said "you just went from the second best hotel in Finland to the best."
I scored it at an Endless Weekend w/ Breakfast rate of $130/night. IMHO, definately worth it. Breakfast was a buffet at the CK's brasserie, and was without a doubt, one of the best breakfasts I've never had. I reccomend the Karelian "piirakkas", or rice pastries, and make sure to smother them with butter. Mmmm....
