They rarely have beverage service on my flights out of my home airport--SBA. It's an ERJ, about 15 mins in the air, 90 miles, and about 8-10 mins of actual cruising time. Some FAs will offer a coke/water/OJ service, others will do just water, and most will do nothing. It depends on the time of day and how the pilots are handling the A/C.

I never complain. Why?

Because I almost always get the same fares LAX pax get, except I get a free 1000 EQM for my money due to the 500 EQM minimum guarantee. I'll trade a free 1000 EQM for a cup of water any day of the week!
