I had a wander round ba.com trying to find the answer. The repeated information was "call BA". Even the formal General Conditions were not specific.

In reality, the pilots have to give 7 days notice of a strike, so the situation of needing to cancel only at the last second should not occur.

However I'm now curious on what the rules actually are....OP, please keep us posted
