I see what you mean about the fully flat bit: the BA beds work very well flat for me (because I am short and narrow and like sleeping on my side), although I prefer the VS seats slightly less than flat (I find if I have them flat then I tend to slide down into the footwell... :-( ).

Both BA and VS have great longhaul business class projects: I like them both for diffferent reasons and feel very lucky to have the opportunities to fly either.
