Flown transborder via YVR lately?

Just before the US CBP checkpoint, a YVR staffer will ask you for your boarding pass, then scan it. If you have checked bags, a digital picture of it/them will appear on a screen, and you are asked to confirm if they are yours. If you answer yes, off you go. If there is no picture, you have to wait until one is taken. If that fails, you have to wait for an AC person to come around and investigate.

When it works, it works well. When it doesn't, the lack of airline personnel in the area can be a bit of a drag.
