CX tends to be very good about making these seats available to passengers that need them for their babies; however, the only way to get these seats is to call CX and have them assign them for your use.
As the flight's departure date approaches, CX will begin releasing these seats to other passengers. At times, it will also assign these seats to top tier members of its frequent flyer program, with the understanding that they may have to be reassigned to accommodate babies.
In the future, just give them a call--- that should solve the problem.
I'm sorry, but you seriously need to read the post carefully before responding.
1. I called CX to reserve the seats. I DID NOT do it through the website.
2. I have a baby.
3. The 2 baby bassinet seats taken were taken by ladies WITHOUT babies.
Besides, this is not the first time I'm doing this. I have reserved baby bassinet seats before without problems, and the reason why I'm writing this is because these seats were taken, and they were taken by people who didn't need them.
