Nope. Welcome to the real world of rental cars. All y'all who "always rent from Hertz" are stuck in the world of high rates.

I've seen rates in ANC as low as $6 per day from Enterprise, Dollar, Thrifty, Budget, and Alamo. During the same period, Hertz is always at least $35 (before tax).
