Last November, I had a nice 15 minute interrogation by AA security. Its not unusual for me. My cousin had accompanied me to the airport and they made him remain far away from me during the questioning period. They were concerned he was coaching me.

I was also called in the boarding lounge and asked to identify a large heavy mass in my checked luggage. It was a glass coffee warmer thingie my aunt gave me.

In light of what happened in September, I appreciated the security agents were very patient with my answers and thorough. The fact they werewere fluent in english (this has been a problem in Italy) made it less aggravating. However, I found it strange that I had to produce my university staff identification as proof of employment. Next time, I'm just going to carry a photo album with a picture of my house, the family and pets, my voter id card, a pay stub, my past three years of tax receipts and my 1981 girl's state certificate.

However, I have noticed since that trip, I have only had one grilling. The rest have been more like sautees.
